Stoked for Saturday is all about inspiring people to explore their backyards and beyond! We started our adventure in September 2013 when we left our jobs and life in Canada to explore the unknown in New Zealand – and haven’t stopped since!
Working full-time, we feel you can have it all – live a life of adventure while continuing to pursue your career. We seek out anything that gets the blood pumping and tackle new challenges together along the way.
Our website, Stoked for Saturday, has garnered quite a bit of attention in a short period of time. Named one of New Zealand’s Top Instagrammers by Stuff.co.nz and most recently awarded the Best Travel Video Blog at TBCAsia, we’ve gained a strong following in New Zealand and around the world. GoPro’s video of our trip to Rere Rockslide gained worldwide attention including a feature on the US TV program Right this Minute. In 2015 Jordan was awarded New Zealand Geographic’s Photographer of the Year in the Timelapse category for his mesmerizing glowworm video that was featured on Wired, IFL Science and Smithsonian . One of our most exciting projects was working with famous YouTuber and Film Maker Devin Super Tramp to produce 13 videos in 14 days in partnership with Tourism New Zealand which have gone on to received over 35million views on YouTube and 165million on Facebook.
We’ve partnered with brands and tourism boards to showcase activities through photo rich blogs and YouTube video episodes shared across our engaged social media platforms. Here are a few organisations we’ve partnered with:

I’m so happy about finding out about you guys. I moved to NZ 7 months ago from South Africa. I live in Napier now and i’ts just been stressful with getting settled. Now that things are more in place I want to go and explore as much as possible. I’ve seen a bit of NZ but not nearly as much as I want to. Thanks to you guys it also makes it easier to plan my weekend Travels now that I know a bit more about what’s out there.
I just love your web series Living a Kiwi Life, because I can relate to a lot of what you guys have been through seeing as I also moved countries.
You guys are awesome!!
Thanks Stephen! Hope you can tick off some of the items off your list and get some new ideas from our adventures 🙂 Enjoy!
